
It's really easy. Contact me and once we've decided on a date and time I will send you an invoice with a payment link to pay the deposit- easy peasy! The balance is payable in the same way on the day of your photoshoot- for Cancellation and all other terms scroll down.
Usually photos take 4 weeks to be ready for viewing. Viewing and ordering takes place in person or over zoom and is a 40 minute appointment where you will see your gallery all edited and ready to select from. You can see more in my Terms and conditions.
Additional photos and products can be purchased in packages starting from £399.
In short.. no.... but I usually am very nice to returning clients and those that recommend and sometimes throw in a freebie or discount :)

-Non Maternity - No I would ask that you bring your own outfits. Some dresses can be worn as non-maternity but I would recommend a chat before your photoshoot.

Terms & Conditions – Sonya Harrap Photography
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings and services provided by Sonya Harrap Photography. By paying your booking fee and/or attending your session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms. A link will be supplied in the invoice to this webpage.
1. Booking Fee & Securing Your Session
A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your photoshoot appointment. No booking is confirmed until the booking fee has been received.
The remaining balance for your session must be paid in full on the day of your photoshoot unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Failure to pay the outstanding balance within 5 days of your session may result in your images being permanently deleted without notice and no refund on the booking fee.
2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Booking fees are non-refundable where cancellation takes place within 10 days of the scheduled appointment(not including the day of the photoshoot/appointment).
Requests to reschedule outside of the 10-day period will be accommodated where possible and are subject to availability.
In the event of illness, emergency, or circumstances outside of the client’s control, Sonya Harrap Photography may, at its sole discretion, offer a transfer of the booking fee to a new date.
Repeated cancellations or rescheduling requests may result in forfeiture of the booking fee.
3. Additional Images, Products & Payment Plans
Any additional images, prints, wall art, albums, or upgraded packages must be paid for at the time of ordering unless a payment plan has been agreed in writing.
Payment plans may be offered solely at the discretion of Sonya Harrap Photography.
No products, prints, or digital files will be delivered until all outstanding balances have been paid in full.
Prints and products have an order and delivery time of over 4 weeks- due to printer supplier turnaround times. This can be more in some seasons. This occasionally take longer due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to illness, technical issues, workload, supplier delays, family emergencies, or other matters outside the control of Sonya Harrap Photography. Any significant delays will be communicated to the client where possible. Delays do not entitle the client to refunds, discounts, or compensation.
4. Viewing, Editing & Ordering Appointments
Your photographs will be ready to view approximately 4 weeks after your photoshoot. Editing and turnaround times are estimates only and may occasionally take longer due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to illness, technical issues, workload, supplier delays, family emergencies, or other matters outside the control of Sonya Harrap Photography. Any significant delays will be communicated to the client where possible. Delays do not entitle the client to refunds, discounts, or compensation.
Viewing and ordering appointments take place either in person at Sonya Harrap Photography or via Zoom and are up to 40 minutes in duration. Online galleries are not supplied.
All images are professionally edited in the artistic style and creative discretion of Sonya Harrap Photography. By booking a session, the client acknowledges and accepts the editing style, artistic interpretation, and final presentation of the images.
Images and products are sold as seen at the viewing and ordering appointment. Once digital files have been delivered or print/product orders have been placed, no exchanges, substitutions, swaps, refunds, or changes can be made.
Basic editing is included within the session fee. Requests for additional retouching, including but not limited to removal of tattoos, extensive skin retouching, body reshaping, object removal, or advanced alterations, are carried out solely at the discretion of Sonya Harrap Photography and may incur an additional fee. Fee's start from £30 per image increasing based on the request- any associated costs will be payable by the client prior to any works being carried out.
Certain retouching requests may require outsourcing to a specialist editor, in which case any associated costs will be payable by the client prior to any works being carried out.
5. Copyright & Use of Images
All photographs remain the copyright and intellectual property of Sonya Harrap Photography at all times.
Clients are granted personal-use rights only. Images may not be altered, edited, filtered, sold, entered into competitions, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission and/or a commercial usage licence.
Sonya Harrap Photography reserves the right to use images from any session for promotional purposes, including but not limited to:
• Social media
• Website portfolio
• Studio displays
• Advertising
• Printed marketing material
If you do not wish your images to be used for promotional purposes, you must notify Sonya Harrap Photography in writing prior to your session.
6. Image Storage & Archiving
Following your viewing and ordering appointment, there is no guaranteed period for image storage or archiving.
Clients are strongly advised to back up all purchased digital files immediately upon receipt.
Sonya Harrap Photography is not responsible for lost or damaged files once delivered to the client.
Re-ordering of files once they have been delivered will occur a fee.
7. Newborn Photography Sessions
Newborn sessions are ideally carried out within the first three weeks following birth.
To help ensure availability during this timeframe, clients should contact Sonya Harrap Photography on the day of birth or the following day.
While every effort will be made to accommodate newborn bookings, session dates cannot be guaranteed without prompt communication following birth.
8. Complimentary 6-Month Photoshoot- Newborn photoshoot
Complimentary photoshoots of all types are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, credit, or alternative services.
The complimentary session includes one complimentary Print selected by the client from the edited gallery presented to them at the viewing appointment.
If a complimentary session is cancelled, any request to reschedule will be entirely at the discretion of Sonya Harrap Photography.
Images from complimentary sessions will be ready to view approximately 4 weeks after the appointment, at which point a viewing and selection appointment will be arranged.
9. Gift Vouchers & Gift Cards
Gift vouchers and gift cards:
• Cannot be exchanged for cash or monetary value;
• Are non-refundable;
• Must be redeemed within 6 months of the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
Expired vouchers will not be accepted.
10. Prints, Products & Delivery Times
Prints, albums, frames, and other photographic products may take up to 12 weeks for production and delivery depending on:
• Supplier turnaround times;
• Country of origin;
• Seasonal demand;
• Shipping delays outside the control of Sonya Harrap Photography.
Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed.
11. Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for:
• Arriving on time for appointments;
• Ensuring children attending sessions are supervised at all times;
• Informing Sonya Harrap Photography of any medical, behavioural, or accessibility considerations relevant to the session;
• Bringing all agreed clothing, props, or accessories to the shoot.
Late arrivals may reduce shooting time or result in a cancelled appointment or a request to reschedule by Sonya Harrap Photography.
12. Studio Conduct & Safety
Sonya Harrap Photography reserves the right to end a session without refund where behaviour is deemed unsafe, abusive, inappropriate, racist, threatening, or damaging to studio property or staff wellbeing.
Clients are liable for any deliberate or negligent damage caused to studio equipment, props, furnishings, or facilities.
13. Limitation of Liability
While every reasonable care is taken during sessions and in the handling of images and products, Sonya Harrap Photography shall not be liable for:
• Loss or damage caused by events beyond reasonable control;
• Technical failures;
• Supplier delays;
• Injury or loss occurring during sessions except where caused by proven negligence.
In the unlikely event that a photoshoot cannot proceed due to photographer illness, emergency, equipment failure, or other unforeseen circumstances, liability shall be limited to the return of monies paid.
14. Agreement
Payment of the booking fee constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions in full.
Sonya Harrap Photography reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
