With over 17 years of experience photographing babies and children of all ages, I know how to make sessions fun, relaxed and free from pressure. We'll laugh, play, chat and take breaks when we need to. You don't need a family with perfect behaviour. You just need to bring your personalities and let them shine!

Little Sitters - documenting your growing baby
While newborn photography is often the first professional photoshoot parents book, a sitter session captures one of the most exciting stages of your baby’s development. A sitter photoshoot typically takes place when your baby is between 6 and 9 months old, when they can sit confidently on their own but are not yet walking.
This stage is full of personality. Your baby is becoming more expressive every day, with big smiles, laughter, curiosity and those adorable chubby cheeks that change so quickly. Unlike newborn photography, where babies spend most of the session asleep, sitter photography focuses on capturing your baby’s unique character as they interact, smile and explore their surroundings.

Well-behaved dogs are very welcome! They're part of the family too, and I know how important they are to many of my clients. If you'd like your dog to be included in your family photos, please let me know before your session so we can discuss the best way to make it work safely and smoothly.

Of course. Alongside your family photographs, I'll always make time to capture individual portraits of each child, as well as sibling photographs if you'd like them. These images often become favourites for grandparents and make beautiful additions to your gallery.

When should we book?
There's no perfect time of year for family photography, but weekends and school holidays can book up weeks in advance, so it's always worth getting in touch as early as possible. If you are thinking about booking a family photoshoot to gift the images as Christmas presents, then October is perfect to give you lots of time to choose and order, and get the gifts wrapped!

During your session I'll gently guide you while keeping everything relaxed and enjoyable, especially for younger children.
