During your session you will have access to the many dresses and outfits that I have at the studio and prior to your pregnancy photoshoot we can discuss the looks that you like along with dresses and outfits.
And together we can decide on the best ones for you to make you look and feel fabulous.

On your Pregnancy photoshoot with Sonya Harrap Photography you will be able to decide what look you would like to go for and if you cannot decide then you can go for them all.. after-all this is day for you.

You will have access to over 90 dresses/ outfits/ wraps to make your photoshoot truly unique. Accessories are also available to use.
Partners and children are welcome to attend and be photographed.
Included in your Maternity photoshoot are 4 of your favourite photos supplied digitally in high resolution.
Plus 4 matching prints
Maternity photoshoots are Studio based only. The studio is in Hertfordshire.
Gold foil treatment is £50. Please advise if you would like this at the time of your booking so extra studio time can be allocated to your photoshoot

When is a good time to book and have the photoshoot?
Once you have had your 20 week scan please call or message me so I can give you some dates to choose from. Typically, between 30 and 36 weeks is good for a Maternity photoshoot but I have had women at 39 weeks in the studio, so it's always worth checking if you want a photoshoot and are close to your due date.
However, Maternity photoshoots are very popular so I suggest booking in sooner rather than later, so you are guaranteed a session.

What happens after the photoshoot? How long do I need to wait to see my photos?
Following your photoshoot I will start editing your photos to get them to the high standard that you have seen in my Maternity gallery. This process takes up to 3 weeks. You will then be invited back to the studio to view and choose your photos. Any digital photos that you choose will be supplied to you digitally at your viewing session. Digital sales are final and cannot be swapped once they are sent to you.
When do I pay for the photoshoot?
The balance for the photoshoot is due on the day of the session. This can be paid via Bank transfer, debit/ credit card. Once the photoshoot balance has been paid I can confirm receipt and begin work on your photos. You can pay for extra photos once you have viewed them at your viewing session.
Do you have outfits for me to wear?
I have a wide range of dresses, wraps and accessories at the studio to ensure we get the right look for your photoshoot I have over 100 dresses/ wraps and accessories. I am always happy to take sugestions, so if you have an particular outfit in mind we can discuss that at your pre-shoot consultation call.
I don't like how I look/ I have stretch marks?
Every pregnant woman that has come into my studio has said the same thing. Every pregnant woman has said they have a part of their body they dont like. My job is to make you feel and look wonderful. Plus if you really wamt me to I can tone down blemishes and stretch marks.
Can my Partner be in the photo?
Absolutley.
The main focus of the photoshoot will be you but partners and children can be included. I can run through clothing options for them once you have booked.
I don't want to show too much skin? is that ok?
Everyone is different and that's what your Maternity photoshoot is tailored just to you. For religious reasons or just personal preference I can supply you outfits that cover, whilst highlighting the pregnancy and still making you look amazing! Before your pregnancy shoot we can have a chat and run through any questions or concearns that you may have. But like I said, this is your photoshoot and a time for you to shine.
Do I need to buy a package?
No.
Packages are there for anyone that wants to buy more than the 4 photos that are included in the photoshoot. If you would prefer not to buy a package you can stick to the 4 photos or you can buy photo prints individually.
How do I book?
Booking is super simple. First, use the form below and include your contact details and due date.
Once we have discussed the details and you are happy to go ahead I ask for a small deposit to book the session for you. Then we can discuss the fun stuff, like the look of the shoot and the outfits!
Can I buy this as a gift for someone?
If you know someone that is expecting and would like to buy them a special gift, then a Maternity photoshoot is a great choice.
I can post a beautifully designed gift card to you or straight to the recipient. Plus, the Maternity shoot comes with 3 photos so you are not leaving them to pick up the cost of the photos. A gift card can be bought directly. Please click here .
*How does the Complimentary newborn photoshoot work?
The complimentary Newborn OR 6 month photoshoot covers the photoshoot and includes one free photo. This is not part of the Maternity package and is a special offer. It cannot be redeemed for any cash alternative or discount against another shoot/ product. It is subject to availability. If you wish to take the offer you must let Sonya Harrap Photography know at the time the Maternity photoshoot or prior to the baby's birth. This can be used as a 6 month photoshoot if you do not choose to use it as a newborn shoot. Please inform Sonya Harrap Photography at the Maternity photoshoot/ viewing if this is what you would like to do.
The offer is subject to studio availability so prior notice at the maternity session is vital. You must contact Sonya Harrap Photography the day after baby is born to get the 1st availability.
A newborn photoshoot is from 7 days to 3weeks following birth.
A 6 month photoshoot is when baby is 6 months and no more than 8 months. The offer is non transferrable and not valid for cake smashes.
Do you use my photos for promotional work?
From time-to-time I update my website and my social media with client photos that I have taken. Please do say if you do not want your photos on my website. I also enter my best photos into monthly professional photography competitions. If your photo wins or comes in 1st, 2nd or 3rd, you will receive a free print of the winning image. By booking with me you agree to this, unless you tell me otherwise.
