Cakes smask photoshoots are so much fun and a wonderful way to celebrate a 1st birthday, especially if you haven't been able to throw a party.
I offer a number of different backgrounds plus bespoke options and all my little cake smashing babies get to have a Splashing bath section at the end; which not only makes for great photos but also means you get to take away a clean baby and not one covered in cake!

How long is a cake smash photoshoot?
I've photographed hundreds of cake smashing babies and one of the things I've learnt is not to hang around. From start to finish a Cake smash photoshoot is around 90minutes
What themes can I choose from?
You can browse through my portfolio and choose one of the thmes I've already done or I am happy to work with you and create something if you have a specific look in mind. For this reason I ask that you try and book with plenty of time.

Booking is super simple. First, use the contact form below and include your contact details and when baby's first birthday is / was?
Cake smash sessions can be booked early as you like. It's one of my most popular styles of photoshoots so I do suggest contacting me as soon as you are interested.
Some people like to have the cake smash session actually on the babys birthday, so it's a memory of the actual day and some people want the photoshoot a few weeks before so that they have photos ready for the big day to either post on social media / have as party invites or use as thank you cards.
But you can also do them after the actual birthday too. A baby is 1 for a whole year so if you have missed out on doing one and you still want to, there is nothing stopping you. Added to that is that I've also done 2, 3 and 5 year old smashes.
Once we have discussed the details and you are happy to go ahead I ask for a small deposit which will hold a session for you.
Is the Bath section included?
Yes. and it's a great part to the photoshoot! I encourage splashing so expect to get very wet!!!
How long do I need to wait to see my photos?
Following your photoshoot I will start editing your photos to get them to the high standard that you have seen in my Newborn gallery. This process takes 2-3 weeks. You will then be invited back to the studio to view and choose your photos. Any digital photos that you choose will be supplied to you digitally at your viewing session.
Do I need to buy a package?
No. Packages are there for anyone that wants to buy more than the four photos that are included in the photoshoot cost. If you would prefer not to buy a package but want more than the four, you can add on photos individually.
Can I buy this as a gift for someone?
If you know a little person that is turning 1 and would like to buy a wonderful experiance for them and the parents then a cake smash or portrait photoshoot is a great gift.
I can post a beautifully designed gift card to you or straight to the recipient. Plus the photoshoot comes with 4 photos, so you are not leaving them to pick up the cost of the photos.
Do you use my photos for promotional work?
From time-to-time I update my website and my social media with client photos that I have taken. Please do say if you do not want your photos on my website. I also enter my best photos into monthly professional photography competitions. If your photo wins or comes in 1st, 2nd or 3rd, you will receive a free print of the winning image. By booking with me you agree to this, unless you tell me otherwise.
