Maternity pricing & info

When should I book my Maternity session?

Usually the best time to have your photoshoot is between 28-33 week pregnant. At this time expectant mothers have a lovely big bump but not too big so that it can be uncomfortable to move around and do gentle posing.

What do I need to bring?

I have a large collection of dresses, wraps and materials at the studio which are all designed specifically for maternity photography, so you wouldnt need to bring much; unless you had a specific outfit in mind.

Before your photoshoot I will also discuss the look that you are after and if you do need to bring anything.

Studio location

My home studio is located in Welwyn garden city, Hertfordshire.

This is very close to the A1 M which makes it very easy to get to from North London, Barnet, Potters bar, Stanmore, Harrow, Stevenage, Hitchin. St Albans.

There are also two close train stations nearby.

Can I book Hair and make up?

Yes depending on their availability you have the option to add in a Hair and Make up artist for £30.

What happens after my session?

Following your photoshoot I will begin editing your photos to ensure that you get the look that you are after and what you see on my website portfolio.

After 2 weeks you will be invited back to the studio to view your gallery and decide what photos and packages you would like to buy.

Can I bring my family?

Children and Partners are more than welcome to attend the maternity photo-shoot. I will happily guide you through what they should wear and discuss the type of look that you are after.

How do I book ?

Booking is easy. Once we have selected a date and time for your maternity shoot I ask for a £20 deposit top book and then the balance on the day of the session.

Use of your photos

These photos are for your personal use. Time to time I will use images for the promotion of my work. Please advise if you would prefer against this. Please note that copyright remains with the photographer, is is a standard practice in the photograhic community.

How to prepare and what to bring
with you to the photo-shoot
On the day of your Maternity photo-shoot I would suggest that you have your hair and
make up done. This is your chance to feel fabulous so take the time to this. I have a few contact details of make-up artists should you need any.

I have a large number of dresses and outfits that you can wear during the session. however feel free to bring anything else that you would wish to wear.

If you are bringing a partner or younger siblings please let me know and I can suggest outfits and complimenting colours for them to wear.
Some of the dresses and fabrics that I have here can be a little sheer so a selection of white, black and nude underwear can help with this.

On the week of the photo-shoot I will send across the studio address.
